Everybody uses fear to manipulate people. Children are taught right from wrong not through empathy but punishment. The fear of facing consequences for breaking rules arises soon as we turn two years old. While we are still learning to walk.
I'd ask what kind of childhood you had to think all parents are like that, but I've read your file. I'm not going to argue the finer points of gentle parenting with you.
Let me clarify: they don't use those fears in the sick ways you do.
